At Rain City Melodies, we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring music directly into your home. As a professional mobile music lesson company serving the greater Seattle area, our pricing reflects not only the quality of instruction but also the dedication of our teachers—who navigate traffic, weather, and long commutes so that you don’t have to. Our base rate is $50 for a 30-minute lesson, and for those who opt for a full hour, we offer a 20% savings, bringing the hourly rate down to $90. All necessary course materials, including books and basic accessories, are provided at no extra charge to ensure your learning experience is seamless and stress-free.

For families or individuals wishing to extend their learning time, additional time past 60 minutes is $30 per half hour, and this rate includes multiple students within one household. For example, booking two full hours for two students reduces the rate to just $75 per hour—making it both economical and efficient. While many companies enforce strict policies and charge full fees for missed sessions, we only ask for a small cancellation fee in the case of very last-minute changes, as a way to honor the time and effort of our dedicated staff. Don't worry about rushing around through traffic, we'll take care of that. Sit-in on the lesson, put your feet up and relax, or do whatever you need to do! We can't wait to bring the joy of music into your home.

If you have two or more students studying different instruments it's even better. Our customized, and comprehensive educational programs include reading and performance, in addition to writing and musical composition. We have found that writing music has a profound impact on the ability of the student to not only learn music, but to make it their own.

Lessons with Rain City Melodies means exploration and creative thinking, supportive yet affirming discipline, and the foundation for a strong sense of self-identity. The time we spend with our students means so much more than just an extra-curricular education because we foster and cultivate an appreciation for the arts.

Our lessons are billed monthly and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out we would be happy to come up with a lesson program for you. Incentive programs for multiple students, more frequent lessons, and referrals contribute to a lower hourly rate. Because we drive around all of Seattle, we'll do our best to find the right day and time for you.
